  • Teacher Tutorials on Friday Mornings

    Teacher Tutorials are opportunities for students to retake papers or makeup tests that they've missed. Teachers may be able to offer one-on-one support if they are available. Tutorials are held every Friday, the schedule is below and also indicated on the daily bell schedule document here.
     
    Fridays from 8:30 - 9:20 - Art, English, Helix First, PE, Performing Arts, Science, World Languages
    Fridays from 9:30 - 10:20 - Business, Math, Social Science, Comp Tech, Family/Consumer Science
     
     

    The Den - Before & After School 

    The DEN is a student-centered space that provides academic support both before school (7:15-8:15am Monday - Thursday) and after school (3:45-5:15 Monday - Thursday) in room 1600 (ExL). Students can come in before school and/or after school to receive help in all subjects. The DEN is staffed by academic coaches and credentialed teachers in order to provide student support and facilitate achievement. Here are some of the support systems the DEN will provide:
    • Tutoring
    • Remediation
    • Test prep
    • Test proctoring
    • Timed writings
    • Study groups
    • Student-centered support in any academic capacity
